FirstSouthwest Asset Management Managing Director Scott McIntyre to Speak at 2018 Government Finance Officers Association Annual Conference
FirstSouthwest Asset Management Managing Director Scott McIntyre will speak at the 2018 Government Finance Officers Association’s (GFOA) Annual Conference on Tuesday, May 8, at the Americas Center Convention Complex in St. Louis, Missouri.
McIntyre will participate in the “Debt and Treasury External Advisors: Who Can Do What?” session, along with Nat Singer of SWAP Financial Group and Ernesto Lanza of Clark Hill PLC. The panel will discuss the federal regulatory landscape and provide an understanding of the regulatory framework over outside advisors. Other topics of discussion will include issuing bonds, investing bond proceeds, general government investments and swaps.
The session will take place from 3:35 p.m. to 4:50 p.m. in the 240 complex and provides attendees with 1.5 continuing professional education credits (CPE). GFOA uses a barcode scanning system so please ensure that you provide them with your badge at the conclusion of the session.
