HilltopSecurities Head of Public Finance to Speak at The Bond Buyer’s 2018 Texas Public Finance Conference

HilltopSecurities Vice Chairman and Head of Public Finance David Medanich will speak at The Bond Buyer’s 2018 Texas Public Finance Conference on Feb. 12, at the Hyatt Regency in Austin, Texas.

Medanich will participate in the Business Leaders panel, where he’ll discuss the impact of tax reform on Texas’ municipal market and the revised approaches that will likely appear as a result of the elimination of advanced refundings. The panel will take place at 10:15 a.m. on Feb. 12.

HilltopSecurities Managing Director Julie Peak will also speak at the event, participating in the Municipal Utility Districts: Actions Taken After Hurricanes panel. Peak and other financial professionals will discuss the unanticipated effects of last year’s hurricanes and highlight the current recovery efforts by state and local agencies. The panel will take place at 2:15 p.m. on Feb. 13.
