Still No Agreement, Mixed Sense of Urgency Despite Historically Weak Data & Aid Requests

Weekly jobless claims came in again this week at a staggeringly high 1 million. This is proof the labor market is still broken even though there was “gradual improvement” in the numbers. The total number of people collecting unemployment benefits remains extremely high at 27 million, down a million compared to the previous week.
