DALLAS, December 6, 2024 – Hilltop Securities Inc. (HilltopSecurities) is pleased to announce that four of its municipal finance professionals have been named to Smith's Research and Gradings' (Smith's) 2024 Municipal Analysts All-Star Team.

Tom Kozlik, Head of Public Policy and Municipal Strategy, earned a spot on Smith’s First Team in the generalist category and the Third Team in the sell-side director of research category. This marks his seventh consecutive year on the First Team in the generalist category and his fifth straight year in the sell-side director of research category.

Yaffa Rattner, Head of Municipal Credit, was named to the Second Team in the senior living category. This is her eighth consecutive year being recognized in either the senior living or charter school bond categories.

Ted Chapman, Credit Strategist, was selected to the Second Team in the water and sewer revenue bond category, marking his ninth consecutive year on Smith’s All-Star Team.

Doug Nelson, Municipal Credit Analyst, was named to the Third Team in the airport revenue bond category. This is his seventh consecutive year as an All-Star.

The Smith’s All-Star Team is one of the industry’s most respected recognitions. The 2024 ballot included over 330 municipal analysts from more than 75 firms, with more than 1,000 institutional investors casting their votes to select the top analysts.
