  • Certified Public Accountant with more than 26 years of experience in the financial services industry
  • Prior to the merger of Southwest Securities (SWS) and FirstSouthwest, served as SWS Group’s chief financial officer and treasurer where he played an integral role in finance and investor relations functions
  • Joined SWS Group in 2000 and held various positions throughout his 15 years with the company, including internal auditor, financial analyst, director of finance and investor relations, senior vice president of finance and investor relations and executive vice president of finance
  • Started his career in the financial industry as an assistant vice president, senior risk analyst with Bank One
