Bloomberg: Issuance Seen Posting Modest 2023 Rebound

Tom Kozlik at HilltopSecurities has one of the lowest forecasts for 2023, projecting $350 billion. “Economic growth will be lower next year whether the economy goes into a recession or not, and this will drag new money issuance down,” he wrote in a Nov. 1 research note. He also noted that higher interest rates will quell refunding sales.
